As companies think about growth, talent, and long-term performance, the communities they operate in are not just a backdrop; they directly influence workforce stability, customer trust, and the overall business environment.

This roundtable will bring together a curated group of executives for a peer-to-peer, off-record conversation on how leaders across industries are thinking about “place” more broadly - whether through talent pipelines, employee engagement, public spaces, regional partnerships, or the overall health and vitality of the communities where they do business.

Some companies are making intentional, place-based investments. Others are navigating how to focus their efforts for greater impact. Many are asking the same questions:

• Where can we have the most meaningful impact? 
• How does this connect to our business priorities? 
• And how do we engage in a way that is both authentic and effective?

Rather than focusing on philanthropy alone, this discussion will explore how leaders are aligning community engagement with business strategy, and where thoughtful partnerships can strengthen both the region and long-term business performance.

The Satell Institute convenes corporate, foundation, and nonprofit leaders who are already investing in their communities. In that spirit, this gathering is a no-ask conversation. It’s simply an opportunity to exchange perspectives with peers who care about the role business can play in strengthening our communities.
