Join a small, invitation-only group of CEOs and senior leaders for a facilitated roundtable discussion on the role of corporate leadership in strengthening communities.

Across Berks and Lancaster counties, workforce challenges are no longer just about hiring; they’re about participation, retention, and long-term regional strength. Many organizations are already grappling with this, thinking beyond traditional talent strategies and recognizing that factors like childcare, transportation, housing, education, and community connection all play a role in who can work, stay, and grow within a company.

As a result, companies are increasingly engaging beyond their walls through partnerships, employee-focused initiatives, and community investment that supports both their workforce and the broader region.

This roundtable will bring together a small group of CEOs and senior leaders to discuss how organizations are approaching this work... what’s gaining traction, where challenges remain, and how leadership decisions are shaping both business performance and the future of the region.

It’s a candid, peer-level conversation designed to surface practical insights from those already in it.

The Satell Institute convenes corporate, foundation, and nonprofit leaders who are already investing in their communities. In that spirit, this gathering is a no-ask conversation. It’s simply an opportunity to exchange perspectives with peers who care about the role business can play in strengthening our communities.
